Weekend in Amsterdam – Moniza's Stories

The vibe in Amsterdam is lively and buzzing. I must say people in Amsterdam are super helpful and nice. We stayed in a Apollo Hotel Amsterdam outside of the city center; this beautiful four-star hotel with all the modern features. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

Albert Cuypmarket

We started with the Albert Cuypmarket, a great place to snag a bargain, try some local delicacies or just soak up the atmosphere. A day in Amsterdam is just not complete without visiting the most biggest market of the Netherlands!

Walking the street of Amsterdam

We walked 17.2 miles in 2 days. Getting from our hotel to the central took us 40 mins. The city atmosphere had a distinctive fragrance of cannabis breezing from the colourful coffee shops on practically every corner. The city on foot has a completely different feel to it

Red Light District Amsterdam

The red light district comes to life in the night. We walked down the district while it was swarming with crowds and illuminated with red neon lights. The place is buzzing with the exciting vibe of its nightlife, cheers, and music.

Keukenhof

Keukenhof is one of the most famous tulips and flower gardens in Europe and, in fact, the world. This is the most hypnotic view of 7 million flower bulbs.

Working on the rest of the days – Seville, Granada, Gibraltar and Cordoba…
